I updated a number of xlibs, libgcc & libstdc++ and
the problem went away. I tried backdating these
libraries but was unable to reproduce the problem

Teaching kdm to read configuration from more than one file would have
several advantages. Multilevel configuration, where kdm for example
reads /usr/share/apps/kdm/kdmrc first, then overrides in
/usr/share/apps/kdm/kdmrc.d/ and finally /etc/kde3/kdm/kdmrc, would

Hi Qt4 maintainers,
I have a concern and a possible request regarding the dependencies listed in the
prl files. According to [1], any object should only be linked against those
libraries from which it actually uses symbols. However, in all pkg-config
I've discovered that I also need to update /etc/kde3/kdm/backgroundrc
to make sure the background image do not flicker back and forth when I
use the same background image in KDE an the KDM theme. It would be
nice if I could do this too in a policy compliant way.
