I want change some txt files enconding.But encoding selecting in open/save
dont's work,so only can change encoding
in "tools-encoding".Although I can see the file correctly but I can't change a
file's encoding and save it.

Hi,
the postinst script should check if the device is really there,
before using chmod, because i get an error on every upgrade. I've got a usb
connector for my palm and i'm using
udev, so the device is only available if i'm pressing the hotsyn

editing a file on a read-only CD-ROM mount and then unmounting the CD
