I have a folder where I send old mailing list emails for archiving. It contains
~205k messages currently but when I try to enter the folder to look up an old
message kmail hangs for a long while and then crashes silently.

I submitted the bug because handling some users with kuser did interfere in
with the regular tools on my system.
I figured it is because kmail does not use the mechanisms provided in debian
to alter conf files.

For the alternative x-terminal-emulator, the program lxterm from the xterm
package (thus ultimately via x-window-system) has priority 30 but konqueror only
has priority 20, so it loses. It seems to me that on a system that has
