Bug#247252: kwin: random buttons missing from titlebar

2004-05-03 Thread Zygo Blaxell at Work
Package: kwin Version: 4:3.2.2-1 Severity: normal Some applications do not display a maximize button on their titlebars. Some examples are 'wish' and 'gnome-xbill'. Some applications display the maximize button but not the minimize button: xload, xclock. Other applications display all three min

Bug#247243: /usr/bin/startkde: upgrades reset x-session-manager alternative to --auto

2004-05-03 Thread Chris Lawrence
Package: ksmserver Version: 4:3.2.2-1 Severity: normal File: /usr/bin/startkde This [incredibly] annoying behavior, I think, is due to how the preinst script handles upgrades. It really should check to make sure the version being upgraded from is old enough that there's a need to call update-alte

Bug#247217: konsole: exiting a session gives error message "session exited with error status xxx"

2004-05-03 Thread Chris Vanden Berghe
Package: konsole Version: 4:3.2.2-1 Severity: normal Hi, When I exit a session in Konsole (by typing 'exit'), I almost always get an error message saying that the session exited with error status xxx, where xxx is quite often '1' or '127'. But also other numbers are possible. This is repeatable

Bug#247196: kdm: clarify documentation

2004-05-03 Thread Ross Boylan
Package: kdm Version: 4:3.2.2-1 Severity: wishlist 1) The current documentation makes several references to the xdm manpage, but users may not have xdm installed. For this and other reasons, a kdm manpage would be good (see also bug #193527). 2) README.Debian does indicate it is for xdm, but it

Bug#247075: kscreensaver: "Start new session" button missing

2004-05-03 Thread gurubert
Hi! Just found the solution myself. ;-) There need to be additional Xserver definitions in /etc/kde3/kdm/Xservers to have that button. Otherwise kdm is obviously not able to start a new Xserver for the new session. Greetings -- Robert Sander
