Problem with Menus in OpenOffice1.1.0-2

I'm having a problem seeing menus in 1.1.0-2 (I've been trying to use OpenOffice Writer). It seems to be the same problem as has been described a few other times, and I was wondering what the status of this bug is. Seems to be the same bug as #172448 from about a year ago. http://lists.debian.org/
