at least on my system the bug wasn't resolved. Openoffice still hangs either
on startup or while loding another file. (screen freeze, can only be killed
with -9)

Hi, just a quick 'positive feedback' for OOO_STABLE_1:
I've brought the .deb build up to the latest OOO_STABLE_1, and all seems to
be working well. I can build and install .debs, and the resulting binaries
seem to work well when subjected to light use :)
