after upgrading to the latest version of open office, the menu text disappeared
and was replaced by small
squares. The problem goes away when uninstalling openoffice.org-kde. Regression?

Shouldn't the /usr/lib/menu/openoffice.org-debian-files file include

No, I took it out for the moment. You can still run it from the command
line if you must, but it gives us a better chance that people use
