Well, I have built and I am using, amongst others, backports of X 4.3.0,
fontconfig and libfreetype. So I can't really make a statement regarding a
pure woody system, but besides the rem

That sounds reasonable to me, since when backporting it helps to try and
reduce the number of extra dependencies (like I

the backports, but this seems undesirable to me on an otherwise pure

I eventually removed the "--with-system-db" and "--with-system-myspell" flags
to make it work. Maybe these should only be used when not building on woo

Um, good point. I put that package up long before the Woody source.

I have set up a chroot environment where I want to build OpenOffice.org for
Woody. When building, the configuration process says "configure: error:
STLport4 libraries not found" and stops.
In addition to the base system, I have installed build-essential. Then I did

Hi Jan,
yes, I used libstlport 4.0, but not before looking at your patch (and the patch

SORRY: Above line should read that I used libstlport 4.5, but my user agent
does not support this...
Anyway: I'm not too sure, but I figured that one should be ab

Hi.
I tried building the oo source from linux-debian.de on "plain" _woody_
(I know that the source is not intended to do so, but I'm thought it
might be worth trying - who knows whether bison 1.33 makes it into woody
and STLPort 4.5 probably needs to be tackled at some point of time, anyway.)
