Relocation error on ppc

First of all thank you for the wonderful product. However there is a problem. I'm working on a linuxppc 2.4.21: I've both tried the OO from debian sid distribution and OO.1.0.3 from yellowdog site. In both implementations I end up with: /usr/lib/openoffice/program/soffice.bin: relocation error:

oo 1.0.3-2 linuxppc bug?
