The openoffice wrapper script adds a non-existent directory
/usr/lib/X11/fonts/CID to the DEBOO_FONTPATH. According to the defoma
installation message, this should be
/var/lib/defoma/x-ttcidfont-conf.d/dirs/CID

Hi,
Mea culpa. It appears libstlport_gcc.so is provided by libstlport4.5-full
which, following recommendations, I hadn't installed.
Does this mean openoffice.org has a missing depends on this package?

Can the dependency be changed to libfreetype6 >=2.0.9 to permit upgrades

and news
GNOME - galeon and evolution
KDE - konqueror and kmail
I've done extensive searches for information on configuring openoffice
to use konqueror and kmail but have been unable to find any information.
This seems a serious omission from openoffice's desktop integration.
