displaying *.ppt openoffice 2.0.2 extremely slow

Hi list, I am using oo (OpenOffice.org built with ooo-build-2.0.2.7) on debian/unstable 2613 -displaying a power point presentation is extremely slow -soffice.bin and Xorg need so much cpu! Has anboy an idea how to make it faster? Do you need further information? thx Gerda -- To UNSUBSCR

ok- I think i fixed it i found out that I had that openoffice was writing on the console: OpenOffice.org lockfile found (/home/gerda/.openoffice/1.1.3/.lock) then I removed that folder-reinstalled and removed ~/.sversionrc --now it seems to work again. sorry for bothering. Gerda Gerda Strobl
