René,
This minimal patch https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=35784
#16 fixes the problem.
I just hacked/built the package myself with Ubuntu sources (sorry).
You might want to consider applying the patch and reenabling the sdbc
driver in LO?
Best regards,
Ferry

I fail to see how not building this package fixes the bug.
For me, not having the sdbc driver makes the whole Base functionality
useless as the jdbc driver is way (10x) to slow and the odbc driver only
produces errors.
Even the broken sdbc driver is at least able to retrieve records from
the data
rsion.

René,
I just downloaded current (3.30_m20 NL) from the OO site and installed
all (except desktop integration as that won't with installed LO on
Ubuntu).
With this version Edit forms does work.
I have not tried to install LO directly, I believe others have already
tried?

I can confirm this problem in kubuntu natty + updates (libreoffice
1:3.3.2-1ubuntu4).
René, I can not confirm Base being useless for anything serious. We use
base in the office for some serious applications as a front end to
postgresql (sdbc driver) and it works actually very nicely.
I also use
Yes, I have the same problem, OO on client side Kubuntu Lucid
1:3.2.0-7ubuntu3, Samba (3.4.5) on host side Debian Squeeze.
This problem is new in OO 3.2.0.

Hello René,
Just want to let you know we all appreciate the hard work you do packaging OO.
And I admit before using reportbug I was also ovewhelmed by the questions you

René,
I've got it here too.
Note my OO has been running for 2.0.4 on my lenny installation, and I try to
keep everything nice and up-to-date.
Now I notice I can not run the svg extension (the same that runs fine under XP).

that folder has been removed
