Hi,
I upgraded to version: 1:3.5.4+dfsg2-0+deb7u9 yesterday and noticed the
charts in spreadsheets disappear, replaced by a thumbnail image with the
text "OLE". If I double click on that icon, the graph appears but then
disappears again when I move off it.

This also happens to me, not only with BROffice.Org but also with
another programs such as Firefox, OpenOffice.Org, Adobe Reader, Kile
among others.
I use Debian Lenny and Kubuntu Feisty (it happens on both).

ge or to roll it
into openoffice.org-dictionaries since that package already builds,
myspell-en-us, myspell-en-gb, etc.

I was wondering if anyone was working on something similar to what is
going on at http://people.debian.org/~halls/openoffice/ That would be
x86 bleeding edge builds of OOo for Debian 3.1. I am looking for
someone doing the like, just for PPC. If there is no one out there
working on this I was look
This means that if I don't install the "openoffice.org-gtk-gnome"
package everything will work OK? Or does it have some solution? The
GTK interface for OpenOffice.org is very beautiful...

Perhaps you have View | Fields (Ctrl+F9) checked? OpenOffice will then
display the field names instead of their values.
