openoffice.org-core uses libneon27, which is linked with OpenSSL.
Looking at the licences this seems to be OK.
But other (GPL'ed) applications mistakenly linked with libneon27
instead of libneon27-gnutls are a source of GPL viola

Hi René,
I compiled 1.1.4-5 with -O2 as described in this bug, and it the
resulting OO seems to work fine.
Was there a specific reason why you dropped the plan to make this change
in the OO packages?

Hi,
what's the status of OO 1.0.3-3 (or 1.0.3.1-1)?
Could you upload a new OO package with all the fixes that are already in
the BTS to unstable?

Klaus-M. Klingsporn <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> noted that "Icon" at the end

of the build tree. The result of this bug is that the Icon isn't
displayed in the Gnome menu.

FYI:
I've backported OpenOffice.org 1.0.2 to woody and added these packages
to a larger collection of packages I do maintain [1].
Notes regarding these packages:
- they are compiled using a backported gcc 3.2.1

packages each open
