Not sure if this works...

Please keep this open and don't mark it as upstream. The upstream

Hi,
ooffice tries to open *.XLSX with oowriter by default which gives you
some xml code as text. But since these are spreadsheets, they should be
opened with oocalc by default. Manually opening them via
'oocalc some.xlsx' works

Hello Rene,
i am not sure if this is the right place to for this request,
but i have a similar problem building openoffice 1:3.2.0~rc5-2 (and 1:3.2.0-1)
on a debian/lenny based i386 system (with some squeeze backports, the
openoffice 1:3.2.0~rc3-1 build worked fine).

Hello,
we have this problem also with our Debian based distribution at Univention: I
was able to reporduce this bug only with i386, but not with amd64, so it
looks like to be a platform dependent problem. (3.1.1-14_i386.deb)
