I've just tested this with Openoffice.Org 3.1rc1 from experimental, and
the export goes as it should. I have not seen any other problems with
the export, so this report can be closed as far as I'm concerned.

Ah, strace'ing ooffice was my mistake. I am using Korean XIM nabi. My
environment variable includes this.
