Followup-For: Bug #422870
On my system I have exactly the same problem.
Also, after manually installing an extension using the unopkg tool, the
extension does show up in the menu, it seems that it cannot be used (I guess
that it tries to open a window).
Hello
my X driver is ati from xorg, no propietary driver here...
setting OPENGL_SUPPORT to no does not change anything.

Hi,
Thank you for the reply.
Sorry for my previous confusion about ooimpress and oowriter.
I tried with oowriter too. I removed .openoffice.org2 and restarted
"oowriter Mini\ Raport.odt", the same problem appeared: it entered recovery.
(Maybe a powerpc problem ?)

Hi all,
I've installed Debian again from testing recently and
upgraded it to lenny/sid. The bug is still here.
I've also installed openoffice.org-dbg to give a more
useful bug report, but I still don't have any backtrace
(what's wrong?). What have I to do to generate a useful
bug report?

The changelog for version 2.0.3-8 says that it enabled amd64 but it's
still not enabled in debian/control.

Hi,
does OO.org 2.2.0 works with Java 1.5 or Java 6 from Debian Unstable?
Because on my PC it does not find any JRE and when trying to specify
the path manually, it says the folder does not contain JRE..
Thanks
