The problem I have is already mentioned i n the subject and it is very
easy to check:
Open OpenOffice.org-base and create a new database and set it up, create
a table.
I have the error at all my machines running debian or ubuntu. The only
one where at least the form assistant starts up is my s

Hello,
I can confirm this problem. I upgraded from Etch to unstable and OO
broke (I only had Writer installed). Installing Calc fixed the problem.
(GTK errors go away after installing the openoffice.org-gtk).

The default openoffice style andromeda is bound by dependency to
openoffice.org-common.
Through this it cannot be removed even if another style is installed.
I suggest to improve the dependencies a little bit. My suggestion is
