Bug#339439: occurs only with hardware acceleration

After further experiments, the problem that I have described occured only when using the hardware acceleration output option of the configuration panel. Without this option ooimpress works smoothly on my G3 ibook. Perhaps a xorg related problem with my graphic hardware (Radeon mobility 7500) ? --
