Group, I just found out that running ./soffice in ~/.openoffice will open OOo as desired. However, I must run this program as root! ~/.openoffice/soffice links to /usr/lib/openoffice/program/soffice. Any ideas why this is the case? Why would OOo require root to run? It isn't good to run as roo
