I have apt-get installed OpenOffice.org 1.0-3 and it is
working fine.
The only problem is that I can't find where the OOo icons
are stored. I have combed /usr/share with no luck.
Can anyone point me to these icons?
A cc: to my own address would be nice.

1) In the the file /etc/environment put these lines:
LANG=pt_BR
LC_ALL=pt_BR
LC_CTYPE=pt_BR
2) Make sure that /etc/locale.gen has the line:
pt_BR ISO-8859-1
3)Also, add the following line in the locale.alias
portuguese.br pt_
