I've done a test build of gcc-snapshot on GNU/Hurd, here's the error:

It looks like only the statically linked multithreding test cases trigger the
problem. Would you mind trying ot hand-build one of those executables, but
adding -rdynamic to LDFLAGS, and run with -backtrace=99 in MUDFLAP_OPT

I'm porting (at least for me) the slind toolchains
(http://www.emdebian.org/slind.html) to powerpc. I have a
dependancy problem during install of some package, I need
gcc-3.4-base. As I think the one from sarge (gcc3.4-3.4.3)
isn't helpful, because the one from slind used gcc3.4-3.4.4, I
need t

Hello,
the 'gcc-4.1' package FTBFS on ppc64/unstable because debian/multiarch.inc
uses the symbol '__ppc64_linux_gnu__' which does not exist.
Please use the correct '__powerpc64_linux_gnu__' symbol instead.
