you are sure you tested with g77-3.4_3.4.2-2 (which isn't yet in the

I just found an other application that displays the same symptoms, whenever
using the File Chooser: eog. I very seldom use it, so I only noticed this today.
Unfortunately, libgtk2.0-0 version 2.4.9 has already trickled down to Testing,
which means that reverting
