Hi,
I noticed x86/x86-64 now has a biarch compiler. It would be great if ppc
did as well, its one of the last missing pieces we need for decent ppc64
support.
FYI binutils has been biarch on ppc for a year or so, so gcc should just
work.

This has been fixed at some point -- at least, a recent build on ARM-linux

Yes. It's unfortunate, but hard-coded register numbers get that way.
The correct way to fix this is to use the new "c" register constraint
and to not use $27 as an explicit asm register. I've had to make simi
