It's an ICE, so there is definitely a compiler bug. Since it also
occurs on all versions, it should be forwarded upstream; Matthias will

It appears to be a problem with g++ in general. g++-3.0 from the g++-3.0
package (version 3.0.2-3) also fails on it:
