Maybe it would be nice to apply kbsd-gnu.diff unconditionally, instead
of only on kfreebsd-*, so that such breakage becomes visible more
immediately?

I am not sure what to do: either introduce a new file

I have rebuilt gnat-4.6 successfully on amd64 on multiple occasions
since you filed this bug, including the upload of 4.6.1-2. Please close
the bug or provide more details.

This bug affects testing/wheezy only (not sid) and can be closed when
libgcc1 (>= 1:4.6.0-12) migrates to testing. The current version in sid is
1:4.6.1-1.

Thanks for submitting this bug for gcc-4.4; a similar one (#631627) exists
for gcc-4.6. My analysis of this bug (with workaround) is here:

I suspect that one of these paths are wrong, or the symlink is wrong, or
the compiler driver looks in the wrong place.
The same problem exists with gcc-4.4; cloning this bug accordingly.

This looks like http://bugs.debian.org/631627 filed yesterday against
gcc, so it is probably common to all languages :(
I think instances of the bug are in both gcc-4.4 (affecting gnat) and
gcc-4.6 (affecting gcc). I'

Hello,
I see in aptitude:

id 4.6.0-2 -60.1 MB
pi 4.6.0-4 +105 MB
Why the big difference? Is this intentional?
