o working on the port
both wrt buildd maintenance and debugging. He is listed on [1], too.
But obviously that does not imply GCC maintainance for s390*.
And indeed, we should've copied Bastian on this. I apologize.

ar to others. Insults do not help your case.
I don't think Matthias had an malicious intent here, to hurt you and
induce suffering. Your mail does suggest that. I think it was merely a
human mistake of believing that a simple changelog mistake can be
fixed after a quite long gcc build.
Package: starpu-contrib
Version: 1.0.1-2
Severity: important
Hi,
starpu-contrib build-depends on gcc-4.5/g++-4.5 which should go away (see [0]).
It also build-conflicts against gcc-4.6/g++-4.6, which are not the default
compilers of x86 in wheezy anymore.

actually our job description. So no, we won't stop just because you're telling
us to, just with solid reasons instead of handwaving about it all going away
because you say so. It's a hell lot of work it's causing. Nobody's saying
anything against having gcc-4.7 as an optio
as an alternative,
just that it is highly problematic as the default at this point of the release
cycle. +1 on the revert from me, sadly.

Hi,
gcc-4.4-base is still prio:required, but I don't see base packages depending on
it. The priority will cause the package to stick around even if it's marked as
automatically installed. Is it really needed? (debian-gcc@ Cc'ed.)

Package: libstdc++5
Version: 1:3.3.6-24
libstdc++5 should be multiarch'ified to support legacy applications
cross-architecture.

gcc-4.3 failed to build from source on all buildds, including the 64bit one.
(It will from now on only try on the 64bit one, though.)
It fails when trying to build stuff for spu support (see below).
