i tried to build 1.33.1-5 on my i386 and 1.33.1+1.34.0-cvs20060531-1
on hppa/paer (to see if -mlong-

The bug is not reproducible, so it is likely a hardware or OS problem.

do
ost packages from sid but the error persisted.
you have to wait for the new gcc packages from unstable or try to
manually install them.

Martin,
i'm reading that boost finally built on arm, could you please upload it?
thank you
domeni
/fetch.php?&pkg=boost&ver=1.33.1-5&arch=arm&stamp=1153567444&file=log&as=raw
i'm unable to dig further in the bug because no arm machine is currently
available.

this seems to work :)

thank you for the first explanation i read about this error message.

e makes gcc fail the build, it entered in debian
with gcc 4.0.1-3, gcc 3.4.4-10 or with some broken binutils. if i could
install packages on paer.d.o, i surely would try different combinations
of linker/compiler.

i'm again available to delve further into this if only i get some hint
of the direction to follow. anyway i'd be probably able to only extract
more info, surely not to to fix the compiler itself.

please let me know how to provide more details. unfortunately i'm
currently not a toolchain expert.

and already in testing, while boost 1.33.0 is not, and with undergoing
c++ transition, which i honestly did not follow. am i missing anything
here? thank you.

thanks
looking at the report, it'd say this bug is of g++ 4.0.2. please note
that the upstream testsuite does not fail on g++ 4.0.2.

hi all gcc wizards :)
i'm trying to understand how to manage bug #247643. how can i understand
if it is a code production error of gcc-3.3? i asked the submitter to
try with gcc-3.2 but more than this i'm not able to imagine.
please give me a hint.
