Then the output doesn't stop when the value of a wraps into negative
territory.

I forgot to mention that earlier versions of gcc
(specifically, 3.0) caused the same problem. I just
installed 3.4 and everything works perfectly, so I
guess this is a "<= 3.3" problem.
Also, it's no longer critical that this get resolved
soon since 3.4 works. =)

The current version of g++ on the arm buildd ICEs when it attempts to
build kdebase 3.1.2. I am not certain of the version being used but
reportbug seemed to think it was 3.2.3 probably from checking this local
system, (I think it might be 3.3)
I believe this bug has been fixed with 1:3.2.3ds0-0pre1. Bug #180520
which was fixed in the upload was a patch to correct this problem.
I will leave this bug open for the maintainer to close in case there is
more to this problem than I understand.

It worked with gcc 2.95.x on Dec 28, 2002, and failed on gcc 3.2.x on Jan
16, 2003, any more details than that are not given by sbuild, as far as I
can tell, so how is a regular maintainer supposed to give you this
information??? Perhaps a bug should be filed against sbuild to give more
detailed information for situations like this?
