fixed in the vcs. please could you check if that's all which needs fixing? I
currently don't have access to a hppa machine anymore.

gcc-4.6 no longer builds on hppa due to a packaging issue. Here is

So, r5655 did break these builds. Reverted the patch again, and checked in a fix
which doesn't break the native builds. Could you verify that it still fixes the
cross cases?
