Package: gcc-doc-defaults
Severity: minor
Hi!
As gcc-4.3 is now the default version (with the "gcc" package depending
on it), shouldn't gcc-doc (that depends on gcc-4.2-doc) be updated to
gcc-4.3-doc?
Thank you!
Best regards,
Nelson

I agree with the original bug reporter.
My use case is I have some large legacy fortran code which works fine under
g77, but which gives bad numerical results under gfortran. To debug the
issues I have to compare the two results in detail, and I cannot do that now

Package: gcc-4.3
Version: 4.3.1-2
Severity: important
gcc-4.3.1 miscompiles Linux ext3 code in some targets, causing OOPSes. It
could be causing other problems elsewhere in the kernel, too.

Hello,
gcc-4.2 upgraded to 4.2.4-1, could you do the same for gdc? That
would actually fix bug 482519. It would also permit to install gdc on
hurd-i386: for now gcc-defaults' gdc depends on gdc-4.2 (>= 4.2.4-1)
there.
