Eric, this patch is OK for mainline and for 3.4.2 -- but not for 3.4.1 at this
late date.
Postponed until GCC 3.4.2.

There are several packages that fail to build (at one time)
because of this error. This includes:
boost
sndobj
libcwd
dar
mpich
openc++
vserver
aspseek
chemeq
arkrpg
rocketworkbench
I also found one example in a configure script that did this:
#include
using nam

Hi,
I've finally managed to build a 2.6d bdb with full debug symbols, but when I
run it, no code seem to be executed, the segfault occurs before _start, as
is confirmed by "ldd -r":
$ ldd -r ./bin/bdb
libbigloobdl_s-2.6d.so =>
/home/ydirson/bigloo-2.6d-32-O1-g/lib/2.6d/libbigloobdl_s-2.

Heya Doko! Here's an updated hurd-changes.dpatch file. I've tested
it, and with this we are fully functional with a real /usr tree. Can
you please include this for -2?
Tks,

Hmm, I did not test 3.3.4 at all, so this might be just a regression I do not
know, but the debian folks
think it is.

Hi,
seems that something went wrong on the last upgrade (I accidentally
installed libgcc1 from experimental a while back and downgraded again
afterwards. Maybe this was the cause). I apt-get --reinstall
install'ed all packages belonging to gcc and now it works.
Cheers,
Chris
