I think that's the saddest thing I've ever read on this list.

OWTO questions about emacs should be
directed to one of the many emacs support channels or to debian-user
if it's a debian-specific question.
I'm sure none of us mind answering the *occasional* noob question, but

How so? Personally, I think that font-lock mode at the console alone
is enough reason to justify switching to emacs21. But you're not
forced to use any of the new features in 20/21 if you don

Same thing happens to me, same message, and it's a brand new problem
that just started. Since bbdb hasn't been updated in a while, it has
to be a problem in the new release of ema
d apps register themselves with the
menu system. I assume you're using something like ':needs="emacs"'?

still at http://www.debian.org/~xtifr/debian-changelog-mode.el
Now maybe I can start on making some *real* changes. :-)

Argh! Sorry, fixed.

Also fixed. Thanks. Prerelease 3, which only corrects these two
minor problems, is up.
Forget my own head some days :-)

Thanks to everyone who's given me feedback so far. I hope to have

Ok, early responses suggest that it doesn't quite work with Xemacs
yet. I think I have enough info to solve that in a reasonably
portable fashion now. Thanks for the feedback, I'll announce a new
version in a few days probably.
