If you open the enclosed `alfabet1.tex' file and save it as `alfabet2.tex', then you get rubbish in the second file. You should check the value of `enable-multibyte-characters' and in multibyte buffers encoding/decoding should be switched off completely. However, you can still use `x-symbol-tex-
