(isdnutils), so i compile it with -I/usr/src/linux/include .

AFAIk only bug fixes are allowed.
my problem is the isdn package : the new version was released (beta1)
this week, and it was tested a long time (public cvs tree). now it has a
documentation (not all binaries but at least some), some new

i read the announcement, compiled it for local use and it's great.
has anyone packaged vice, or is doing this ? if not, i will do it.

here are my auto compiling script. there is a bit more management in it,
and i seperated the whole thing in two scripts (the basic idea was, that
they could run on seperated machine, or the build script could run in a
chroot environment for security...).
i only tried to compile my own package
dpkg-source -x /some/path/to/file_version-rev.dsc
creates not only file_version/, but also file_version.orig.tar.gz.
why ?

reminder : the kde packages still need a new maintainer,

there are several bugs, but the bug database contains also fix
infomations for several of them.
keep the packages in unstable as long as you like (hamm, and following

there are three tools : cfgtool (lars wirzenius), nod (winfried
truemper), dcfgtool (mine). and someone is working on a _real_
hy.
i will write some documentation for some packages i'm maintaining.
i'm no native english speaker, so someone should cross read it. the
problem is not the content, but typos and unclear formulations etc.

AFAIK there is no manual, list or whatever of debian specific things.
so, what about moving all manpages that are debian related to have the
suffix "debian" ? this way anyone can go and say : ok, i know unix, and
i was using other distributions before. lets see how debian is doing
