font (typeface?) of the rest of the letters is just awful for a logo
(because it's one of the common ones whose name I don't know).

I got a reply from the maintainer, Eric Van Buggenhaut, 2008-05-11 on
an email I sent 2008-05-04. He said he had been busy, but hoped to
retake his debian duties in a couple of week
I received this response from the upstream author regarding the package
name.
