After discussing security with some friends we got around to using
md5 instead of crypt. This has been brought up before but nothing
much seemed to happen. Is debian going to switch to md5 with 1.0 or
are people opposed to this?

I was running top on my system tonight and it showed the stats of 124
processes etc etc. Then on the next "view" 5 seconds later it spits out:

Then it exits, and wont let me run it until it's below 130ish - is this what
