Great.. :) Its much better do integrate the tools, and your idea is very good. I adopted equivs package, and I am working to became a debian developer. Otavio is my sponsor.. Debconf idea is good, because with this, we can have lots of front-end instead of just graphical gtk2. I ll be glad to help
