ge but run by a normal user -- the new
.pyc/.pyo couldn't be written anyway. Thus, if the .pyc/.pyo files in
the package were compiled with 1.5, 2.0 would have to recompile the
.py source on every import, or vice versa.

> Dallas?
I'm going to be there for the whole thing or close to it (arriving
Wednesday evening, leaving Saturday afternoon, staying in the
conference hotel)... I'm not sure what my schedule will be other than
that I'm speaking at 11 AM Friday. I'd be happy to help out
x27;ve been
successfully using this card with Linux since the summer of 1997; the
card itself was purchased in November 1996.
Admittedly, these cards are probably nowhere near as common as the
average cheap WSS card, and it's likely that the previous poster
doesn't have one, but they DO exist...

the bug.
I've never dealt with a bug in someone else's package before; does
this mean that I should do an NMU and close the bug, or...???
(I really don't want to see pilot-link drop out, as it will take two
of my packages, ones I am the "upstream" author of no less, with it.)

"Recommends"

is "Recommends"
- the GIMP "Depends" on xfnt75 and xfnt100, but otherwise the
strongest dependency on those is also "Recommends"

tough it is to do so; it seems like it might be non-trivial.)
(*) palmpython and xmldoc are my own applications, which ought to be
Debianized very soon, as soon as I iron out some kinks in the build
process.

assume that the kpilot author has made some changes to the library
which justify this.

stuff to be packaged, and I think that someone may
already be working on it.
(*Building* it on a Debian system is painless, except that it takes a
lot of time and disk space. *Packaging* it, however, may be an
entirely different problem :-)
