this should all "just work".
if you provide a pointer to the source package in question we can
have a look at the problem.

#x27;t want to accept that.
You've done a great job in maintaining firefox, please don't
rename your package based on some personal differences with the
mozilla trademark policy.

well, it would be against the FHS, I think.
The BSDs use libexec but I don't really see a good reason why it exists.

As Andreas already noted, this could be solved by slowly filling
the archive.

I don't think postponing the problem will help in

my package tspc could not be build on mips and I don't know why:
/usr/bin/ld: cannot open output file ../../bin/tspc: Permission denied
The package builds correctly on all other architectures.
Any ideas?

so when you only want zyn to work perhaps it's better to modify it to
use libxml2 (you already described that the library APIs is very
similar) than to introduce a new library which is only used by one
package.

They don't work for me, yet I won't flag them as non-free.
We must not consider hardware when talking about free software.
Sending firmware to the device is not that different to sending some
magic initialization commands. Firmware should be treated as exa

We should however try to convince hardware vendors to allow distribution
of their firmware. Asking for full source is not helping anybody and
will just scare away the vendors.

its not your programs task to gain access, it should
already be provided by the calling process.
you could print a message that the user should ask the
sysadmin to add them to these groups if your open-call
fails.

compile devicd3dfx-source and you are done :)
