wever, some ruby module packages, such as xml parsers,
are widely used for several ruby applications and other ruby modules.
I think it is nice that such ruby modules are built for both ruby1.6
and ruby1.8.
Which ruby packages do you want to keep ruby1.6 support?

We already have ruby1.8 in unstable, you may build ruby packages
named *-ruby1.8 for ruby1.8 now.
- Change ruby-defaults from 1.6 to 1.8

Put OPTIONS="-u bind" in /etc/default/bind9

Thanks,

for this upload queue.
Since "master-jp" is already used for nickname to dupload for JP archives (in
Debian JP Project), different name is better to distinguish, I think.

No, WIDE is the research projects in Japan, stands for
`Widely Integrated Distributed Environments.'
This WIDE patch does not mean support for DBCS.

like *BSD ports system.
To install "ports",
get tar.gz of original package file and put it in /usr/src/ports/distfiles/.
extract "ports" in /usr/src/ports/.
run "pmake" in the extracted directory and you can get "deb" file.
install its "deb"
d elisp
package (not byte-compiled) and it provides some script to
byte-compile by using emacs which is installed in user's machine.
I suppose it is better to run in postinst.
How about this idea?
