If it stinks, it's chemistry. If it moves, it's biology.
If it does not work, it's computer science.

798309 - debian-policy: Adjustments to perl policy for multi-arch
Last updated 4 months ago
As for contributing I've tried to contribute to packages but so far the
feed back I have gotten is mostly a whole lot of nothing (as is most
often the case with Debian). So that
this:
3.10 Multi-arch support
Packages must be multi-arch aware and architecture-specific
development packages must be tagged as Multi-Arch: same.

Advice is what we ask for when we already know the answer but
slog spam, making
the rest of the package that much more usable.
And marking bugs 774763 and 784832 as duplicates of 783228 would clean
things up a bit too and has no reason to block on fixing access to
SecuriteInfo.

In a world without fences who needs Gates?
to a more portable API (although the transition
may not be easy, porting to a new API never is).

Avoid the Gates of Hell - use Linux.

at them. It contains both the new files and updates to existing files in
unified diff format. If we go with shipping the cruft filter files with
packages then there will also be the question of migrating them from the
cruft package to each individual package...

f the 'Packages' system. I
don't mind the time it would take to download all this extra information
but it should probably be optional (kind of related to people
complaining the Packages files should not contain the description).
