G'day, just saw the discussion about chroot stuff and avoiding starting daemons/ mounting proc etc. The lessdisks package has a "lessdisks-chroot" command that does all this for you. I believe it diverts start-stop-daemon so that it fakes starting/stopping the daemons. --
