I think it really is, since it saves space with minimal effort.
It only becomes an issue when you switch a package to a symlinked
directory and get wrong

Hey folks,
We're planning a small BSP at Ohio LinuxFest in Columbus Ohio very
soon (September 28-30). If anyone happens to be in the area, I think
there'll be some unsanctioned hacking going on in the halls or at a
