Not sure if it's the right place to comment, but I wonder how can
“Enable Ipv6” be classified as “Medium Risk”. It's something you may not
have power on (if your netadmin or ISP decides to enable IPv6,

Hi,
first of all, we are a bit unsure about the intended timeline. Do you
plan to remove architectures which fail to release for the next two
releases (i.e. lenny and lenny+1), or will you impose this new policy
retro-actively for the etch and lenny releases, i.e. kill off the ports
on relatively

Clearly, SELinux issues etc. in stable won't get fixe

Actually, when I started the page, the 4 levels were simply tagged "Low

Hi Franklin,
thanks for working on a page describing the various releases.
I would like to object to your labeling according to "risk". I don't think
running unstable or testing is a high risk per se. As long as one doesn't
upgrade onself into a terrible situation and knows how to downgrade a pac

features that are system-wide probably deserve more attention (like most
of the release goals).
I've written a wiki page[1] which describes four typical scenario to

FWIW this problem is found in many other cases: see lighttpd with
apache2 installed, or caudium or any other http daemon, and none of them
has a bug about it, it's unfair to mark it as RC.
