Bug#784671: gdm3 wouldn't start until caribou path changed

Dear maintainer, I could reproduce exactly the same issue and error logs on a fresh Jessie install from the last release iso: `debian-8.0.0-amd64-CD-1.iso`. I used a very standard installation process using almost all default installer value and choosing the `gnome desktop environment` option. G
