I had this problem too, exactly as the initial description and was introduced
by itself and never solved by itself.
The trick of Maria Jose Santofimia Romero to restart apache from another
terminal while hanging worked, but then there were still other unknown problems
still making it impossible
Can't reproduce the bug in Debian testing, is there anything I'm missing?
The following NEW packages will be installed:
libapache2-mod-mono mono-apache-server{a} mono-apache-server4{a}
mono-xsp4-base{a}
0 packages upgraded, 4 newly installed, 0 to remove and 70 not upgraded.
Need to get 252 kB
Open a new console and restart apache server
# /etc/init.d/apache2 restart
The issue occurs also on Ubuntu 12.04.
The command that appears to get stuck is the following:
/usr/bin/perl -w /usr/share/debconf/frontend
/var/lib/dpkg/info/libapache2-mod-mono.postinst configure
The issue gets more annoying as apt-get tries to configure the package
after each install/updat
Not an isolated bug as I'm also experiencing the same with this package.
