Could you please try again with the version unstable?
I've specified several version in with "Version:" header, but looks like
they were discarded.
I've tried with 2.4.3-1.1squeeze2, 2.6.4-2.1 (sid) and 2.6.5-1
(experimental)

Package: nut-snmp
Version: 2.4.3-1.1squeeze2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
Looks like nut-snmp is totally unusable:
# upsd -DD
Network UPS Tools upsd 2.6.5
0.00 fopen /var/run/nut/upsd.pid: No such file or directory
0.001154 listening on 127.0.0.1 port
