The attached patch reverts the bogus change. I can successfully
connect using ipsec now.
I'll upload an NMU to delayed/10.

As reported in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ike/+bug/860208,
the shrewsoft client cannot connect anymore. Downgrading to 2.1.5
fixed it here.
Comment #13 on the LP bug suggests the culprit is 0004_select.diff.
