I can confirm that Mikhail's solution of copying the file
"/etc/pam.d/gdm3-autologin" from "gdm3"
package to "/etc/pam.d/lightdm-autologin" works with the side note
that I had to install the accountsservice package to get lightdm to
show up.

Another workaround is to downgrade to 0.9.7. It fixes the problem, even
though there is no /etc/pam.d/lightdm-autologin.

Initially I thought that I have a bad configuration, but I installed
the package from scratch, the configuration provided by the package
also lightdm does not start.
